The time I need to prepare an order for shipping varies. For details, see individual items.

I'll do my best to meet these shipping estimates, but can't guarantee them. Actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose.

Customs and import taxes

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Items on sale

Returns

Returns are accepted within the timeframe and in accordance witht the guidelines stated above. Items must be returned in their original condition, unused and undamaged.

All returns must be approved first. Please contact me if you need to return your item for authorization. Items sent back without authorization will be refused and returned to sender, no refund will be issued.

Refunds will be issued for the item price only. Shipping fees are non refundable on any item.

If you are looking to exchange an item, you will need to return the item as outlined above and then purchase the new item you are 'exchanging' for.

Custom and personalized orders

I am currently not accepting requests for a fully custom item, but I am certainly able to make small changes to an item such as a different color bow or a custom size, as long as it is possible for me to do so.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All items are packaged with care. Gift notes may be added to any order. Invoices and pricing information are never included in your shipment. Due to the odd size and shape of many of my items, I do not offer a gift wrap service.

What if my item arrives damaged?

In the unfortunate event that an item arrives damaged, please contact me withing 48 hours of delivery to report the damage. You will be required to provide photos of both the damaged item and packaging via Etsy message. Hold on to any packaging, as this will be needed in the event of a shipping insurance claim. An online affidavit and photos of both the damaged item and packaging will also be required to complete an insurance claim. Once your claim is submitted, I will issue a full refund or send a replacement item. For minor damage, a partial refund will be issued.

Can I change the shipping address on an order?

All shipments are sent to the address listed in your order. If this needs to be changed, please contact me ASAP via Etsy conversation before your item ships. White Door Studios is not responsible for packages that do not arrive due to an incorrect address entered by a buyer. A package sent back to me due to an address error or failure of a buyer to retrieve the package from a post office or UPS will be resent upon payment of additional shipping fees. If the delivery issue is the fault of the carrier, no charges will occur.

Rush Orders

Most items can be rushed upon request. Rush fees and expedited shipping costs may apply. Please contact me BEFORE placing your order if you need your item rushed to make sure that I can accomodate your request. Choosing a shipping upgrade (Priority or Express) does not constitute placing a rush on your order. Those options only refer to the method by which your item will ship once completed.

Can I cancel my order?

Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase. All cancellation requests must be made via your Etsy purchases page (this can be accessed by choosing 'purchases and reviews' from the drop down menu under 'you' in the upper right corner of your screen). This connects your request to your order number and provides a record of the request for both of us. Requests made outside of Etsy will not be honored.

Can your wreaths be displayed outdoors?

Yes, most all of my wreaths are designed for both indoor and outdoor display. If displaying outdoors, the wreaths will last the longest if placed in a protected area, one not exposed to direct sunlight or vulnerable for exposure to other adverse weather conditions. White Door Studios is not resposible for any damage caused by weather conditions. Please feel free to contact me before placing your order if you are concerned about how a wreath may hold up on your front door.

Shipping Boxes

Many times a wreath will ship in a box that is smaller than the listed diameter of a wreath because the outer materials are quite flexible. This helps keep shipping costs lower, and ensures that the wreath will not be tossed around in the box during transit. A tight fit ensures a safer arrival of your wreath. Rest assured, your wreath will return to it's full size once unboxed, although a bit of fluffing or manipulation of outer materials may be required.

Can you add a protective (UV) spray to a wreath?

Yes, I am happy to add a protective/UV spray to any wreath upon request for no additional cost. Adding this spray however, is considered a customization which makes the wreath ineligible for return or exchange, as the spray cannot be removed for a future customer. If you would like this added to your wreath, just leave a note with your order (in the add a note box at checkout), or message me after placing your order.
