A fabulous and unique piece of home decor. A pillar candle featuring an image of an antique map of the city of Berlin.

Fans of Berlin, Germany, Europe, travel and antique maps alike will go crazy for these wonderful candles.

Available in your choice of 3 x 4 or 3 x 6 inches. Both are a high quality, ivory colored and wonderfully textured, vanilla scented candle.

Image is transfered onto the candle via a unique heat transfer technique which results in the image becoming fused to the candle under a layer of wax. It is a seamless application from which the map becomes a part of the candle. The candle can be lit and burned. The image will last as long as the candle does.

Please note - maps do not cover the entire candle, there will be a small blank area.

Returns

Returns are accepted within the timeframe and in accordance witht the guidelines stated above. Items must be returned in their original condition, unused and undamaged.

All returns must be approved first. Please contact me if you need to return your item for authorization. Items sent back without authorization will be refused and returned to sender, no refund will be issued.

Refunds will be issued for the item price only. Shipping fees are non refundable on any item.

Custom and personalized orders

Requesting a custom order:

Custom orders are welcome and encouraged! I love creating that special, one of a kind piece. Custom orders must be paid for up front, before production on the item can begin. A private custom listing will be created for your custom order. Custom orders are not eligible for a return or exchange. Custom wreaths over 26" in diameter may be subject to oversized shipping charges and are not eligible for any free shipping promotions. Since most custom orders will require supplies to be ordered just for you, cancellation requests must be made no more than 24 hours after your purchase.

Gift wrapping and packaging

All items are packaged with care. Gift notes may be added to any order. Invoices and pricing information are never included in your shipment. For an additional fee, you can choose to have your item gift wrapped. Item will be wrapped in plain kraft paper and completed with a simple ribbon. Your gift note, if included, will be secured to the ribbon.

What if my item arrives damaged?

In the unfortunate event that an item arrives damaged, please contact me withing 48 hours of delivery to report the damage. You will be required to provide photos of both the damaged item and packaging via Etsy message. Hold on to any packaging, as this will be needed in the event of a shipping insurance claim. An online affidavit and photos of both the damaged item and packaging will also be required to complete an insurance claim. Once your claim is submitted, I will issue a full refund or send a replacement item. For minor damage, a partial refund will be issued.

Can I change the shipping address on an order?

All shipments are sent to the address listed in your order. If this needs to be changed, please contact me ASAP via Etsy conversation. White Door Studios is not responsible for packages that do not arrive due to an incorrect address entered by a buyer. A package sent back to me due to an address error or failure of a buyer to retrieve the package from a post office will be resent upon payment of additional shipping fees. If the delivery issue is the fault of the USPS, no charges will occur.

Rush Orders

Most items can be rushed upon request. Rush fees and expedited shipping costs may apply. Please contact me BEFORE placing your order if you need your item rushed to make sure that I can accomodate your request. Choosing a shipping upgrade (Priority or Express) does not constitute placing a rush on your order. Those options only refer to the method by which your item will ship once completed.

Can I cancel my order?

Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase. All cancellation requests must be made via your Etsy purchases page (this can be accessed by choosing 'purchases and reviews' from the drop down menu under 'you' in the upper right corner of your screen). This connects your request to your order number and provides a record of the request for both of us. Requests made outside of Etsy will not be honored.

Custom and personalized orders

Personalizing an item:

All wreaths can be personalized with a wooden initial, please contact me for pricing information on adding this detail to the wreath of your choice.

Ribbons on any wreath can also be changed to better suit your color scheme. Just contact me with your request and I will do what I can to accomodate your choice of ribbon color.

Shipping Boxes

Many times a wreath will ship in a box that is smaller than the listed diameter of a wreath because the outer materials are quite flexible. This helps keep shipping costs lower, and ensures that the wreath will not be tossed around in the box during transit. A tight fit ensures a safer arrival of your wreath. Rest assured, your wreath will return to it's full size once unboxed, although a bit of fluffing or manipulation of outer materials may be required.
